This is technically not a new country - I already have a postcard from the Northern Mariana Islands but it's from Saipan, and it's unwritten (sent by my Japanese penpal who went on holiday there. Apparently, Saipan is pretty popular amongst the Japanese). This one, however, is a written and stamped card from Tinian. :)
How awesome is it that they have a Hot Pepper Festival?! Pretty damn awesome, I'd say. ...although I thought 'Bhut Jolokia' was the hottest chili pepper in the world, but maybe there's a difference?
Anyway, thank you so much for this card, Jude! I hope you like mine, too.
They use regular US stamps on the Northern Mariana Islands, but the card has has a Tinian cancellation which makes it special.
