The last postcard I'm posting today is also from New Zealand, but the picture is not from there...
...it's from Antarctica! How cool is that?! It would be very, very difficult to get a written and stamped postcard sent from Antarctica (for one thing, mail only gets delivered there a few times a year) so I'd say this is the next best thing. :) This is an RAS ('Random Act of Smileness') postcard from the lovely Adriennegarry.
It's SUCH a beautiful picture, too, showing Mt Erebus on the Ross Island in Antarctica.
New Zealand stamps are wonderful! This one is particularly awesome: it has a lighthouse in it and it glows in the dark! It's from a set of 5 stamps issued in 2009, representing Lighthouses of New Zealand. This one is Cape Brett.
